There was a season where Modern Collective was doing it all, and on paper – it looked impressive
We were doing everything from memberships, to courses, providing an abundance of resources and taking on 1:1 coaching clients.
All good things & all things we loved creating. But somewhere in the middle of it all, things got…loud.
We were chasing too many directions, trying to serve too many audiences, and losing sight of the thing that had always made us great: designing events and experiences that actually move the needle for our clients.
So, after sitting with it and getting clear on why we felt out of alignment, we made a decision.
We stripped everything back, we got clear on what we wanted to be known for and we simplified.

When you grow, it’s easy to think the answer is to add more – more offers, more channels, more ways to serve 🚀
But what we’ve learned is that sustainable growth doesn’t come from addition, it actually comes from subtraction.
Simplifying forced us to look at our business differently.

The answers were clear: We build ROI-driven meetings, events, and incentive travel – and we do it exceptionally well 💪
That focus became our anchor for every decision we make moving forward.

Once we simplified, everything else started to click into place, and almost immediately 🤯

There’s something powerful about knowing exactly what you do and who you do it for. It’s not limiting – it’s actually very freeing.

Simplifying didn’t mean doing less for the sake of it, it meant being intentional with the things we’re choosing to spend our time on, and REALLY pour into.
We refined our services into three clear pillars:

- Incentive Travel: experiences that inspire performance.
- Site Selection: data-driven destination strategy that saves time and money.
Every decision, every deliverable, every client conversation now aligns with one of these. It’s structure, but it’s also clarity, and that clarity has been game-changing.
